and the laptop computer. One of the main differences is the price.
In comparison netbooks tend to cost hundreds of dollars less than a
laptop computer. The affordability of netbooks means that more
people will be able to own a netbook. Another difference is the
size of the netbook in comparison with the laptop. The laptop
usually has 14"-17" screens while the netbook has a smaller
8.9"-10.1" screens. The netbook also is much lighter in weight than
the laptop computer.
The netbook does not have the CD or the DVD drive of the laptop as
these would make the system heavier and more expensive. The netbook
usually is already equipped with the modem and the network
connections, while some laptops may make you pay extra to get these
accessories added. There are many differences that are quite
important to the person buying the system, however netbooks are
meant to make your life easier by giving you more portability,
lighter computer, paying less money.
